1. 3:143Aali ImranWarning
   وَلَقَدۡ كُنتُمۡ تَمَنَّوۡنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَلۡقَوۡهُ فَقَدۡ رَأَيۡتُمُوهُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ
   And verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it (in the field). Now ye have seen it with your eyes!
   In context

   O believers, you wished to meet the disbelievers so that you could gain martyrdom for the sake of Allah, like your brothers did on the day of Badr, before you saw the severity and ways of death. Now on the day of Uḥud you have seen what you wished for with your own eyes.

2. 49:17Al-HujuratPromise
   يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيۡكَ أَنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّواْ عَلَيَّ إِسۡلَٰمَكُمۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَنۡ هَدَىٰكُمۡ لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
   They make it a favour unto thee (Muhammad) that they have surrendered (unto Him). Say: Deem not your Surrender a favour unto me; but Allah doth confer a favour on you, inasmuch as He hath led you to the Faith, if ye are earnest.
   In context

   O Messenger! These bedouins recount their favour upon you by mentioning their Islam. Say to them: “Do not recount your entering the religion of Allah as a favour upon me; its benefit - if achieved - will return to you alone.

3. 53:20An-NajmPromise
   وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ
   And Manat, the third, the other?
   In context

   And Manat, another third one amongst your idols? Tell me do they possess any benefit or harm for him?

4. 56:58Al-Waqiah
   أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا تُمۡنُونَ
   Have ye seen that which ye emit?
   In context

   O people! Do you not see the semen you ejaculate into the wombs of your wives?
