About Surah Al-Asr
Despite being only three verses long, Al-'Asr is considered by many scholars to summarize the entire message of the Quran. It swears by time (or the declining day) to state that all of humanity is in a state of loss, except for those who believe, do righteous deeds, and mutually encourage one another to hold onto truth and patience — condensing faith, action, and community responsibility into a single short passage.
