  1. وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيۡضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
    And he drew forth his hand (from his bosom), and lo! it was white for the beholders.
    In context

    Then he drew out his hand from his shirt, near to his chest or under his arm, and it appeared completely white, not because of illness, but radiating brilliantly to all who saw it because of its extreme whiteness.

  2. 15:75Al-HijrConsolation
    إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
    Lo! therein verily are portents for those who read the signs.
    In context

    In the incident mentioned about the punishment that descended on the people of Lot there are signs for those who ponder.

  3. لِنُرِيَكَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا ٱلۡكُبۡرَى
    That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents,
    In context

    I have shown you these two signs - O Moses - to show you some of My greatest signs that indicate My Power and that you are a messenger sent by Allah.

  4. قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتۡكَ ءَايَٰتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَاۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ تُنسَىٰ
    He will say: So (it must be). Our revelations came unto thee but thou didst forget them. In like manner thou art forgotten this Day.
    In context

    Allah said in refutation of him: “This is like what you did in the world, because My signs came to you but you turned away from them and left them. Likewise, you will be left today in punishment”.

  5. وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيۡضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
    And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders.
    In context

    He put his hand into the opening of his garment without its being white and then he drew it out radiant white - not the white of leprosy - for the onlookers to see.

  6. فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنۡهَا يَضۡحَكُونَ
    But when he brought them Our tokens, behold! they laughed at them.
    In context

    Then when he brought My signs to them, they began to laugh at them, mockingly.

  7. 54:15Al-QamarNarrative
    وَلَقَد تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
    And verily We left it as a token; but is there any that remembereth?
    In context

    I have left this punishment that I meted out to them as a lesson and admonition. Is there anyone to take a lesson from that?

  8. وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
    And have appointed your sleep for repose,
    In context

    And I made your sleep the end point of your activeness, so that you may rest.
